Ceramic artists tell stories by showing moods and expressions in their artwork: Beth Cavener is a good example. She creates animals and expresses them as being sorrow or after one another. Beth communicates with the viewer by the way she creates the figures faces and gestures. It shows us if the figure is sorrow, happy, or even afraid. Ceramic artists can encourage a direct interaction with viewers by making the viewer think or imagine more than what’s in front of them. While abstract art is like this. It makes the viewer look at it more closely and realize that there can be more than one thing that there talking about: Henri Matisse is a good example of this. His art work is very abstract and makes you look at it in a totally different aspect. While life experiences influence the way you look at art due to the message the artist is trying to get across. Are they trying to have the viewer sad and happy at the same time or just to make them laugh? While also is the artist talking about the world or events that are going on in it. While this also deals with how a viewer might read an artwork. They might read an artists artwork by really investigating every little detail. While really looking and imagining about all circumstances that this vessel or piece could really be about.  Its down to every single detail.
